Brightest rear battery LED - and the winner is?

Would the Magicshine MJ-818 be OK for daytime use? I was just thinking it may help daytime drivers to see me a bit more easily. Cannot find a complete set on ebay right now; is anyone aware of any good offers from a LBS?

Bargain at that price, very bright and the 'disco' flash is very good

Had my R2 on in the rain today on a 45 miler, cars passing mostly giving plenty of room. Happy I had it, although on one descent at 35 mph I had a close pass that made me take a pothole so hard I lost my water bottle.

I've got a Cateye and a Smart and was made to cycle at the back on return leg on evening club rides lest I blind everyone.

It is actually very annoying for following cyclists.
It really is best to tilt the lights down a little.

Magicshine MJ818's - awesome. My old clubmate wouldn't ride behind me this week. Pulled up next to me at a set of lights and said "WTF are they"
