Gave up smoking in 2002 after approx 24 years as a pipe smoker. Still got a dozen or so pipes in a draw.

I've smoked a pipe on and off - currently off - for a few years.

My baccy of choice is cherry and vanilla aromatic.

A few years ago I had a puff in a small pub in the Lake District.

I stopped, partly because the fog wasn't clearing in the low ceiling room.

"That's enough of that," I said to my mate.

The woman on the next table caught my eye.

"Oh," she said. "I was rather hoping you'd light up again because I like the aroma."

My late father smoked a pipe so all the bits and pieces in our garage were organised in tobacco tins. So I associate the smell of tobacco with being out there working on my bike.
Yes, exactly the same for me. Loads of bits and bobs in "Three Nuns" tins. I have his old desk as well, and the drawers still let out a waft of pipe tobacco when they are opened as it seeped into the wood over the years.
