Is anyone using Breeze Blockers?

I've had them on my commuter and my road bike for the last few weeks (including the -14C morning which was probably the coldest I've ever ridden to work in). They're pretty good though I much prefer them on my flat bars - I don't like how they restrict my hold options on the road bike.

How much are those? I thought they were boxing gloves!

I've seen people use the off road Motorbike hand guards as wind breaks.

I'm surte he's using them with gloves too in this weather!

I've always found gloves a bit of a let down on cold mornigs when i had a 20 minute commute... my pinky and ring fingers were always numb on arrival no matter how thick my gloves got. and that silly pair of enourmous skiing gloves were way to big for cycling.

The foot shields look interesting for me, no problem with cold hands but my toes freeze. Has anyone tried those? Do they work?

Another stupid idea!
Having used similar on motorcycles, they are very effective and far from a stupid idea.

The generic term would be "pogies"

They are also used for motorbikes, snowmobiles, canoes and rowing boats. They are generally either padded fabric or neoprene.
Most of the pedal bike ones are for flat bars, but drop bar versions do exist
EG barmitts, where the default position is on the lever hoods.

We don't want to influence this post but the products do work! Don't just take our word for it however - here was a recent testimonial from Jody Cundy MBE and double Olympic gold medallist!

"My AeroGuards have been permanently attached to my shoes throughout this winter. The extra layer of protection they offer has been welcomly received, especially as it's been pretty cold this winter.

As for the BreezeBlockers, initially I was sceptical of attaching them to my bike as they looked odd, but just like mudguards, they've become a regular worthwhile accessory to my bike."

Rob Hayles Olympic champion has also given a testimonial and you can also see Facebook under BreezeBlockers for further information.

BreezeBlockers are being used on some of the Sky racing team bikes!

Happy debating!
