Brand loyalty is all too often frankly a load of old bollarks. Just look at VW.

Depends. If you just blindly buy the same brands without thinking, then yes, it is indeed 'bollarks'. You need to apply some judgment. I used to be loyal to Nokia but then their phones went shite for a while so I switched to other brands.

Schwalbe have never let me down though.
