Brakes/Bar Spin

All good answers above - I'd just add be blooming careful when/if you start trying to do bar spins, they're harder than they look and a good way to eat pavement!

If you want to start learning tricks, might be best to start with some easier stuff, hopping off kerbs, wheelies, manuals/bunny hops... That should keep you busy for a while - after several years practice mine still need a lot of work 😆

So u are wrong....You can do that on any MTB

Not with gear cables as well. Not wrong. He will have a single speed

I could be wrong, but it is likely that Sam Pilgrims bike is single speed so no gear cables from the bars?

I’ve just watched the Sam Pilgrim ‘ how to bar spin’ he’s definitely on a single speed and only has a front brake. You might find it almost impossible on a regular MTB, good luck though, have fun.

As someone who struggles to bump a bike up a kerb, this guy's skills absolutely blow my mind. Always nice videos too - well produced, nice soundrack, very chilled and idyllic and even though they're sponsored it's not too blatant
