Brake Block/Pad...Update.

They were on my hybrid - now the ice bike.

A V-brake pads ? No idea of quality of them by Clarkes though.

Or Clarkes pads, never had any issues with these and they are cheaper than the Koolstops. Use the Clarkes on three of my bikes.

My long reach Ultegra brakes weren't long enough for my new forks so the LBS stuck Tektro stuff on their Pads were useless (I had to crashes which I think I could have avoided with my old pads). Anyhow I put Clarkes pads in and things seem to have improved tenfold.

I think I will buy the ones already in a cartridge as the others dont seem to be the right shape and I've got to buy something else as well because I've got to spend £35 for free delivery.

I had a set of Clarkes pads from Halfords, I threw them away after a week.

I had the same pad set, binned them after a month they just didn't work. Fitted bog standard showman Integra and all was well.
