SRAM inners 1.1mm compared to Shim at 1.2mm. If new bars are 2cm wider you will need new cables looking at your pic - it looks as though the r/h side cables are dragging down on the bar tape already. That's a big stack of steerer spacers on there - wonder if someone put them on after buying bike - hence why cables are a bit short now
As my cables end were tatty looking I decided to replace all with a new set, should be arriving soon. ThanksI knew SRAM were larger or smaller diameter. Nice one, @lpretro1.
Well spotted with the spacers. If it doesn't affect your position too much, @Andywinds, you could always change the bar height. Dropping a few may make all the difference regards cable length.
It could but bar position is better determined by fit for comfort and efficiency, rather than cable length.

I just went for the expensive Jagwire kit. I've already F****D it up, I've used the longer rear brake cable for the front, now I have only the front short cable for the rear. Looks like I am using the old cable now. What did you go for in the end? Shimano, Jagwire, SRAM?

The old cable is now too short because of the longer housing....FFS. Of to halfords to get ripped off. With redundancies at work I'm having a rubbish day!Bluddy 'ell, mate. They are a bit of a pain in the 'arris, those Jagwire kits. I don't know why they don't just put four lengths of cable in, as opposed to two. Obviously, it's to save production costs, but surely another 5 inches of cable wouldn't hurt, would it.
