I went to my local"ish" bike shop today with a view to test riding a Specialized Secteur most likely a 2011 Sport. Anyway I was surprised to see a new 58cm 2010 Sport model on offer for £519.99. I have looked everywhere on the net and this bike is not available in that size, except at crappy places that list all sizes in stock but when I email them about it I never get a reply. I took the bike out and it just felt perfect, I did not even mind the Sora shifters. I had previously tried a Boardman Comp and I could not get aways with the riding position, also it was a 56cm and I think it was too small. So I just said I would take it if he threw in some pedals, got the cheapish Shimano M520's which is what i wanted. I wanted the Sport as I wanted a triple and also as it is a 9 speed with a Tiagra rear mech I would guess that if the Sora shifters do get on my nerves in the future I can easily upgrade to some used or new Tiagra STI's. I pick the bike up on Saturday as it needs to go through the workshop, I am really looking forward to it.
