I actually bought the linked Ultegra BB as well Wonder would it work in my winter bike if required? A Specialized Secteuor Sport 2010

For what its worth I had an FSA Omega chainset with the BB4000, it lasted about 1200 miles before it wore out, I replaced it but it lasted hardly anytime at all and there is no alternative. My inner chainring was very close to being knackered too.

In the end I bought a SRAM Apex chainest with the GXP BB, slightly better lasting but when that BB goes at least it's regreasable, however I went down the ceramic BB route in the end and bought one of these http://superstar.tib...products_id=448
