I use magic.

I put them on the kitchen side, walk out of the kitchen and sometime later, timing varies, they have magically moved either onto the draining board or into the cupboard all nice and clean.

- i stick um in the dish washer store lid off in the cupboard and replace every two/three yrs

just plain old water and washing up liquid and the dried thoroughly seems to work for me.

This. Although drying it out seems pointless if your gonna use it immediately. Just make sure its thoroughly rinsed.

I just use washing up liquid and then leave on the draining board to dry on its own.
