Pretty much as I expected!

they say that it is not a warrantable issue. They also added the bike needs a new rivnut installed, an Evans store would be able to do this or Specialized could do it at their UK head office.

Ahh that will be this bit then "This is subject to terms and conditions" but dont actually say what the T's & C's are cheeky twunts

I think I would be having a word with Trading Standards it quite clearly says on the Specialized Concept Store website:

Lifetime Warranty

We pride ourselves on having one of the best development teams and have no problem offering you a limited lifetime warranty on all new Specialized frames. This is testament to how confident we are in our frames; we know that a Specialized will give you years and years of enjoyment and reliability. This is subject to terms and conditions.

But no where does it actually give you the terms and condition they speak of and if they are that confident then they should fix it for free.
