I just punctured 4 times with Bonty race lites on Fulcrum 5 rims. I'm aware tyres are worn but 4 times in 35 miles, that's redunkulous.

Yes those are the levers
They broke at the point you place under the bead when trying to lever the tyre bead over the rim
I'm prety sure I had all the tube inside the rim but it may have moved as I progressed around the tyre
I'm not blaming the rims, just geting frustrated! And progresively poorer!

There's a lifetime guarantee on them per the packaging if you want to take it further.

All I can say is that they have coped perfectly well with my Eurus/Veloflex combo's - which are really tight.

What rim tape are you using?

I've just struggled to get some Gator Skins on my fulcrum 5s. I found repeatedly working them with my thumbs must have warmed and stretched them enough to get 'em on. Persistence is not always futile.

Done! Rim tape is zefal cloth btw, now to ride the thing! However if it's raining or even slightly dodgy I'll be on the donahue with the ambrosios and rubhino's
