Hi fritz and all.
The derailleur rout isn't one I want, I'm afraid.
Yesterday had a very nice journey across the Pennine's to collect the 7 bikes I bought on ebay, 4 of which are '20's in sound condition. The 2 KP18'S are cute, but I'm not sure what to do with.
All have working S/A 3 speed hubs, which alone made the trip worthwhile.
Photograph illustrates the red one (1980) I bought a month ago, the bronze one (1978), is the pick of the crop from yesterday.
All I've done is give them a wipe over with a wet rag and as you can see, they are in remarkable unrestored condition for their age.
Strip, lubricate, new tyres, a set of brake blocks and I'm away!
The bronze example has a cosmetically A1 finish Dyno-hub, which is noticeably heavier, so I may swap that out.
Then there's t'others........
So I'm well chuffed, as we in Yorkshire say.
