Ive owned my lizard since I had it the year it came out back in 1992, I still ride it now when I'm out with the kids. And it's fitted with a rear acid house smiley face wheel disc!
I think they look right somehow. Can't comment on the road bikes but I recently had a blast around on a club-mate's Boardman mountain bike ad it felt just perfect, really nice handling.

I was always a little envious of those with a Raleigh Lizard and my other mate with a Peugeot something or other. My dad bought me an Emmelle Cougar saying the guy at the LBS said they were just as good, if not better, but we all knew that it was a tactical sales ploy of immense genius.
