Hi,
Is anyone else having problems with team carbon bottom bracket? Mine was squeaking had it fixed 3 times in two months then on the 4th time halfords gave me a new bike only for the same problem to reoccur! They replaced it with an aluminium bottom bracket (apparently better quality) which didn't even last a week.

I had the same issue, they replaced mine with an aluminium one but the guy said he only very lightly squeezed the ring, what ever that means, he says the first two times he made sure it was squeezed but it led to the issues

Why haven't board an to,d all the installers at halfords the same thing? If they don't know they don't know

I ride Boardman SLR 9.4 with BB30. I agree that weather protection is an issue, the BB regularly starts "rumbling" after maybe every couple of months, especially this time of year. My simple solution is a ten minute job - whip the crank out, clean it all up inside re-grease and re-fit. Silenced for another couple of months.

OP may be having a different issue given frequency of annoying "squeak".
