After rebuilding my Dawes Giro 300 from 2005ish with some bargain wheels I just cannot love it enough to take it out and ride. So I had the bright idea of getting a new frame and moving the components over. Looking around for a frame I came across the epic Boarman Road Sport build thread from @Aluminum Falcon and I loved the colour of the frame and despite it being budget, it has nice looking welding and internal cable routing. In that thread he had a spare frame which was just my size, so a deal was done and I now have this Frame and some forks I have acquired ready for the build.

Obviously the forks need painting, probably black but if I could find a match of the yellow I would do that. I can then start moving things over. I would like some carbon forks but cannot find anything cheap / decent enough.

I will fit a new headset and BB, but I should be able to re-use everything else.

Hopefully get some time over the next few weeks to strip the Dawes down.

I keep saying that about mine, maybe I'll paint the frame to match the forks? :okay:
