BMX front brake -quick question

None of the lads who BMX with my son have front brakes. When the bike came (we the people Arcade) it was just a standard front brake cable going direct to the brake, not routed anywhere. Can't see any advantage to it going through the stem as you can still only rotate the bars once without a gyro.
 
When he has the skills to pull off genuine bar spins have a think about re-routing the cable. Until then simply run it as you would any other bike - it'll be better for it.

Sorry yeah routing through the top cap and out the bottom of the fork would work, but they still don't want front brakes on.
 
Through the top cap and out the bottom of the steerer, then zip-tied to the fork leg to keep it off the tyre and run into the caliper from below. To be precise.
