A new headstone.

It pretty much says im going to die..
Since cycling i have lost nearly 2.5 stone and i was feeling pretty good with my self (i know i need to loose more)

I went to check my BMI to see what i need to get down to, to be my ideal weight.

I am 6' 2" tall roughly and now weight about 17 stone, it says i need to be 13-14 stone.

Even when i was training six times a week playing rugby i only managed 15 and a half stone!

When I was 6 foot and 11 stone the BMI calculators told me I was clinically obese. BMI is the biggest pseudo medical joke of the times.

Bloody hell fella your resting heart rate is about half off mine. It was that low when I was in my early teens (a long long time ago  )

That's proper resting though. Taken early AM after 15 min or so relaxing, my sitting around not doing much nominal is about 55-65bpm which is still low on the low side.

Anyway the silly bit is BMI v's body fat.

Isn't that they now reckon hip to waist ratio is a better indicator of general health in men than BMI, especially after they measured the England World Cup winning Rugby team and found them all to be well above the recommended BMI limits.

Best resting HR for me is 48. Generally lounging around watching telly I get 55-60.

You need to take a more creative approach and instead of losing weight, just grow a bit. Because of the inverse square law its far more effective at lowering your BMI ;)
