It appears this thread is dead - my last attempt to revive It?
Old peoples home in Shrewsbury opened by QEII. As a small kid on holiday from Australia I watched her do the deed.
Quite sad to see it in it's current state + it seems a terrible waste of money. I am sure I remember the plaque being blue....
