Bloody muddy fox shoes

Just a bit of frustration. Bought a pair of these shoes from eBay.

The right shoe seems to have a strap that rubs each time I peddle and undoes itself every minute or so

Whack them back on eBay and go to your LBS to get a pair of shoes that fit

If you don't give a toss about style, why not cut the strap back a bit so it doesn't rub and come undone?

The way it is made is the Velcro is right at the end of the strap so if I cut it back it won't do up at all.

Looking at other shoes I notice that they fasten away from the bike unlike mine. Again, schoolboy error me thinks!

well Muddy Fox bikes used to be fairly good 15-20 years ago. However, the company selling the shoddy kit these days simply uses the old brand name but is not the same gang. Bit like Karrimor too.

Yes - and they are rubbish now for the same reason too - they're owned by Sports Direct / Mike Ashley afaik.

We have three c.25 year old Muddy Fox bikes all still going strong
