Bloodshot Eye

I seem to be getting a bloodshot eye after rides. It happened after my 100 miler last weekend and has happened again after a 45 miler today. I guess a trip to the doctor is in order?

Do you use eye wear?

Wind, dust, sun, pollen, flies etc. can cause irritations in the eye.

The only time I've suffered from major bloodshot eye was when I put myself into the back of a truck, think the glasses gave me a black eye and in turn bruised my eye too

Yes. Could be high blood pressure. Make an appointment ASAP

(it's a ruptured blood vessel in the eye. Could be nothing, and just a coincidence it's happened twice. But a vessel ruptured in my mum's brain - presumably due to a blood pressure spike - that's a road you don't want to go down. Note - mum didn't have bloodshot eyes, so I'm not saying you are similar, but hi thee to a doc!)

Sons car tyre looked flat, pumped it up, he drove it around the block said it felt bumpy, looked under the car saw bulge on inside sidewall went bang as I was looking at it.
