Bloody painful! The last pair of Loakes and these are the only one's that've given me pain. They haven't given me trouble with the actual foot,just the ankles.

Maybe. I tried sticking plasters with the last pair. They just rubbed off as i walked.And if you wear really thick fluffy socks with them, do you think that would make a difference?
