I've got a pair of Vittoria Rubino pro III's that I've relegated to the turbo trainer that look brand new compared to the tyres of the OP, those tyres are fit for the bin.

If it was mine, I'd put a section of old tyre inside and carry on riding. I've used tyres with cuts as big as that for several thousand miles, until they wore out.

I'm amazed at how people get more than a couple of thousand miles of of their tyres, whatever tyres I try they seems to get ripped to shreds before I even reach 1000km (yes I make sure they're running at the right pressure before every ride), I get quite depressed about the poor state of the roads around here, I long to cycle on smooth roads with no glass (or motorists) on it.

I've discarded a pair of tyres after only 120km before, my last pair lasted 550km before they failed.

Where abouts in Bristol are you riding?!

I've got rubbish Schwalbe Lugano's on with over 1500 miles on them and only a couple of small cuts on the front tyre!
