Does this rear yard have a shed? I have a shed and I cut a hole in the shed floor with some power tool I borrowed off a friend. I then dug a deep hole, about 10cm wide/30cm deep with a crow bar, and then concreted a steel ground anchor into the floor. Make sure the hole starts thinner and goes a little thicker as it gets deeper, this means once the concrete has set only the incredible hulk would be able to remove the ground anchor from the floor. I then use kryptonite cable for my wheels and a thicker reinforced steel chain for my frame. Also, you could always buy a big dog!

i keep mine indoors - sheds offer no/little protection.
ikea do cycle hanging stuff - £25 all in, no bolts/screws in the ceiling and a bike tub from EBC to stop the drips after a spot of rain outside.

No bike of mine goes in a cold, lonely shed.

Presently I have: 1 in the hall, 1 in the living room, 1 in the laundry room, 1 in my wife's office (she uses it on the trainer), 2 in my office. 1 in the closet.

3 insured.

My SCR and Fixed wheel are both locked in the shed.
My TCR is wrapped in a blanket in her own bedroom. I go in and read her a bedtime story every night and tuck her in... My wife thinks it's a bit odd, I can't understand why!!!

My garden is fairly safe, I just want somewhere to store my bike to keep it out of the weather, and my missus won't have it in the house for much longer. Any suggestions?
