I took my daughter out on our bikes last week, and she has grown so much over the summer her wee Raleigh was laughably tiny.

I put it, plus my old mountain bike, up for sale and scoured the small ads yesterday looking for something suitable for her. Today I bought her a lovely adult size hybrid, a Terrano Advantage, which may not be a great make, but she loved it and the price was good too. And someone has just bought my old mountain bike for the asking price.

A very good day all in all.

Well done SM.

Bye the way - you didn't happen to be on the Bo'ness Rd(at BP/ Ge Plasics) on Saturday between 4.30pm and 6.00pm or Sunday between 3.00pm and 6.00pm - I can't remember which    , only I saw someone fitting your description( from your pics of you and your daughter). The bike in your avatar was like the one ridden.

 I was on a bus that went past said cyclist.

:hello: If it was you! :hello:

 You survived cycling through Airth? ;)

My route sometimes goes towards Dunmore then I turn up the Morse Road(?) to Airth Station then back onto the Bellsdyke Road - but it's a bit of a mad road for boy racers so I wouldn't recommend it.

Good luck with the cycling - keep us posted on your progress.

Its great when a plan comes together is'nt it

i recently bought a secondhand MTB from the bikeradar forums which was a complete impulse buy

And when my wife saw it in the garage she asked which one of the others it was replacing

So sadly this one had to go
