Hey,
I'm new on here so hope this isn't too much of the same thing but was hoping some of you guys might be able to give me some advice. My new bike is on its way - very excited:smile: However on reflextion and with the weather I have realised it is more of a summer bike. So am now needing a winter bike (very cheap) to commute to work and venture onto the open roads on whilst the weather is a bit rubbish.

So I thought to save money that I have very little left of I'd try and get one off ebay or online. My problem now is bike sizing. For the summer bike I tried a whole lot out but never got properly sized, and knowing nothing I'm not entirely sure with the different brands of bikes available which size to be looking for.

So I thought I should perhaps go and get properly measured up but that costs what I could put towards the bike so need it to be worthwhile. Does anyone know a good place to get sized for a bike in London? Do you think its worth getting done? and would I be able to use measurements for different brands like colnago, wilier, ribble and that sort of thing??

Any help on this would be grand, cheers:wacko:

If you tried out a few bikes when buying the summer one, get one the same size for winter. Horizontal top tube length is the most important.
