Bike size

I'm 5'8" with a 30" inside leg. What size of road bike should I be riding?

One that fits. Different manufacturers use different ways of sizing, so the best way is go to your local bike shop and try a few..

i'm having this issue......looks like i'm the same size as you mate. Looking at a bike (used) on ebay so i wouldn't really be fitted and all that jazz. I only thought bikes came in adult and kids sizes, and you just moved the seat and bars.....how wrong i was.

I've never been 'fitted' either, but I went to my LBS and tried 3 frame sizes from the same manufacturer before deciding which felt right.

THIS may help, but as cosmic says. it's all about the fit.

If it doesn't fit you won't use it, simple.

Even when you've found what sizes fits, geometry plays a part. You'll want a relaxed bike if you can't touch your toes by bending at the hip.

I used to be able to put my hands flat on the floor , i can still touch my toes easily enough but not as good as easily as i used to.....
