Hi There. I live in Barry and recently bought my Trek in Sunset MTB Woodville Rd. Guys in there are friendly and knowledgeable. Happy for me to do a test ride before buying.I just took it in for its free first service they did it while I waited even though originally they asked me to leave it all day.

The MTB in the name is misleading,they sell all types of bike.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to get a specialized, the only two shops that stock them are tredz and don skene. Has anyone had any dealings whith these?

I'm sure Tredz are good but Don Skenes is a family business that has been around for donkeys years so they must be doing something right.I went in there to look at a Specialized Sirrus the guy was helpful and friendly even after I told him I wasnt intending to buy straight away.

The Sirrus was nice but the Trek seemed to fit me better with a longer reach to the bars.

Bought my Trek from Reg Braddick on the Broadway.

Always found Don Skene to be very helpful - will be going to buy wife a bike from them in six weeks.

Everyone has a personal favourite but for me it has to be Cyclopaedia in Crwys Rd. , Just around the corner from the earlier mentioned Sunset Mtb, also an excellent shop where i bought my mtb many years ago and couldn't fault their service.

Got both my specialized bikes from Rhondda Cycle Centre obviously not in Cardiff but if your looking for a specialized dealer then catch the train up the valley and have a chat
