Yes I think you are spot on - I used to like his reviews and blog, but I don't think they exist or are updated anymore.

I recall placing an order for a couple of handlebar bags once from the US, we split the cost, and I sent his onto him.
Despite all this, I can't recall his name.....

His blog contained the word Roubaix I am sure.

I must say that I find it less and less therapeutic as I get older. I mean, they can put a Rover on Mars and send us pictures and take soil samples but they can't make chains that don't need cleaning or lubricating. I do like the result but the process itself leaves me a bit flat and the OH is not happy about me boiling them in a pot on the cooker*.

*I'm a waxer me. Shh.

Did spellchecker change that to waxer?
