Halloween was yesterday
Have you actually tried some?
Looks a bit tacky to me, but one mans meat and all that.
I was glad that was 3d printed, because the lugs looked like they were made by the Cake Boss on Ace of Cakes.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the technical concept. The 3d printing process in metal sounds amazing and the bonded carbon tubes look awesome! It just all looks a bit 'art for art's sake' and I have a deep suspicion that more focus has been placed on form than function. If I were paying £6k for a frameset then I would want to be sure that it could not be lighter, feel better, go faster or be stronger without costing more. Sure, I would want the finish to be perfect, purely as a reflection of the engineering excellence that has been lavished on it's creation, but any additional fat tolerated purely in the name of vanity has no place on such a bike!Skol has no taste. That is rather delicious.
Can anyone else explain why they like it. I can only half imagine. It's Striking, not subtle which is why some people are meh over it. - I for one think its great but can't help but imagine what finishing kit you would need to really complete it.
