Bike pedal advice

I’m looking to get new pedals for by trek 5500 OCLV. My bike is the exposed carbon with the dark blue lettering. I’m looking for pedals for daily riding and not looking for anything too expensive. I’m wondering if anyone has some experience or suggestions for different pedals.

What are your current pedals and what are you looking for in the new pedals?

I always use "look" brand pedals, but all brands do the same job.

The "wellgo" brand offer well priced compatible pedals

I’ve had race pedals with the rubber toe cover/holder and despised them. I want flats or platforms. However I don’t want ones that are huge and for mtb. It’s going to be mostly slower/ stop and start urban riding.

I think if you Google "flat pedals for road bike", it will give you enough choice.

Personally I prefer the ones that screw into the cranks and go round and round....
