Is there secure bike parking at Liverpool Street. Meeting a friend there around 11am on Saturday morning, will then be pootling around the city with her and dropping her back at around 6pm.

Weather permitting will get train to London Bridge and then ride over and then if it's fine in the evening, may have a mooch around the city or even bike home! Just want to be safe in knowledge that the Sirrus will be solid (have an ABUS Granit D lock).

Is there parking in the station somewhere or at least very close with CCTV?

Found this, but I won't have a ticket of course, so on platform won't work

Thanks

Thanks

Not going to be able to keep it with me as we'll be travelling around by tube/bus - plan is to go across to Notting Hill. I don't think I'll get my friend on a Boris bike

I am planning on leaving the bike at Liverpool Street tomorrow...any more tips?

Thanks

Vickster,

If you are coming into London bridge and you are paranoid - a smart thing to be - maybe you should leave your bike at on your bike. Secure, key card parking. Take a Boris bike to and from liverpool street - you'll need to be back by six.

btw, half the goddamned underground network is out today http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/tube/default.html - just fyi. Oh, and don't forget to pick up an oyster card - best way to pay for london transport. You can hand it in for the refund at the end of the day, I think.

Thanks jefmcg

I am not that paranoid, there is parking in the station, or at least close by, there should be CCTV in the area, the City is covered in cameras. I am taking an Abus Granit and a Sold Secure cable lock. Will be weighed down like a carthorse but hey  And it's insured ultimately!

I can't be back at LBG by 6 as my friend's train doesn't leave until after 6. I have an Oyster card (I live in London, well outside but close enough), and will either get one for friend or just a one day TC
