Went to Sainsburys just now for some odds and ends. There were about 40 teens on bikes at the quiet end of the carpark larking about. About half were on decent BMXs, the others were all on MTBs. All stuff by the likes of Cube and Cannondale, not a single BSO in sight.

You must have stood there for a while to look at 40 bikes. Good job it wasn't at a school; you'd be arrested!

Much better larking about than smashing things up. Good to see half have good taste

Lol yeah good job it was in the car park  tried not to lurk too long, to avoid the 'what you looking at???' lol

Some impressive wheelies going on when I left

Don't know what's going on around my area - but started seeing numbers of teens and students on road bikes (old and new). Not fixed or single speed, but either modern road bikes or old ones kitted out in Weinmann bits.

Maybe united in the common hatred of fixie freestylers?

Lol maybe! Someone on a motor scooter turned up for some reason. It was just nice to see a load of kids at a random gathering and not being antisocial. In my eyes anyway, I guess someone would find reason to complain though I'd rather they were doing what they were doing rather than hanging around causing trouble.

Ironically I did see my first fixie fakenger guy (now that I've started actually looking at bikes rather than just being aware of them ), surprising how narrow his bars were
