BIKE MAINTAINENCE COURSE

A local college is doing a one day course in this, 30 quid for a day and as I know nothing about maintaining bikes, I was thnking, I should do it. Has anyone else done a similar course and if so, was it worthwhile ?

I wish someone near me did for 30 quid, well worth it I'd say.

Mind you, I've not been on one, could be a waste of money....

You could always ask what the course covers?

For £30 sounds a bargain but it all depends what it covers ....

If it was the type of course where you take your own bike in and the course is actually teaching you how to strip down and service your own bike, that could be worth it.
I taught myself everything by reading books and later, the Internet. Not been in a bike shop for 20 years! So it's well worth learning.

Thanks, I'll go for it, not much to lose if it's a waste of time but a lot to gain if it's worthwhile.
