No actually.

If someone asks you how do you "feel" whilst riding a bike, there will be a large spectrum of "fit" that you "feel" comfortable.

Somewhere within that spectrum is the correct fit for what you want or what you want to avoid.

So, there's not really much point asking you how you feel.

I had one done by Pedal Precision and it was money very well spent. It was one year ago and 7000 miles later I have not had any single issues with aches, pains or injury. I also believe I am in a more efficient riding position too.

7000 miles a year equates to around 15-16 days riding the bike each year. I have 3 contact points with the bike and I rate it as very important the bike is set up right.
I think you are looking into the word "feel " to much . I was thinking more discomfort with the set up rather than mental issues . You are there for a few hours after all .

Mental issues - WTF

If they ask you, how does that feel, WTF are you going to honestly say. "feels alright" probably.

As far as I am aware these "fits" take a few hours ? So I would be mentioning any aches , pulls or discomfort I feel . I thought that was the point of them . For a £45 fit I would say ( yeah it feels alright ) For a few hundred quid I wouldn't be so flippant with my needs . I certainly wouldn't go for a full on bike fit if I didn't know what I wanted from a bike .

That is the point if you are looking for that. Some people might be looking for other things such as improved power output/TT position. Whatever.

Do you actually ride a bike? Can you honestly say that you could tell the difference between mm or tweaks that a bike fitter may make in a fit session?

Well, you're stating the bleedin obvious.

A bike fit that changes our position will 'feel' different, and may even 'feel' a little uncomfortable at first, so questions on how things feel may not always get a valid answer- that might take some time riding in the new position.

Well I have to say that after my weekend of riding my left glute feels much much better. Perhaps if I had waited a week to recover I would have no discomfort at all.

But I did get a KOM on Sunday, albeit an easy-ish one :wahhey::hyper::becool:
