After years of poo poking the idea, I'm thinking of buying a Bike-Eye for my commuting bike. I use panniers two days a week which obviously will block the view of said device, but on the other three days, I just use a rack bag, so in theory no problem. Anyone have experience of the Bike-Eye that they would like to share please - ? Ta.

They look cack and I'm not sure how well they will actually work, probably good for looking at your legs or crotch as you ride.
I use a zefal spy mirror on my handlebars, works well and I don't have to look at my crotch.

Tried it, didn't like it.

I too use the Zefal Spy mirror, the Bike-Eye is just too limited in it's view, your leg is in the way and you have to stop pedalling and squeeze your leg towards the frame to get a half decent look behind you.
Don't try one if you ride a fixie ;)

Am going to order a Zefal Spy mirror; has mostly favorable reviews and at least I'll be able to see behind with or without the panniers fitted - !^_^ I currently use a helmet mirror, but obviously the view is restricted so this will be a useful addition. and no, I never RELY on a mirror to see what's behind me; a head turn is essential for confirmation. And of course, it gives following traffic a clue that said cyclist may be about to manoever - !:bicycle:
