bike carriers?

ive just bought one for the car ,,my questio is ,,how do you fix the bike on it ??i have a kryptonite cable so i can lock the bike to it so i know it wont fall off but id imagine itd rattle about ,,how do you attach it on the big sticky out things tightly

I have a Witter rack.

Mine comes with bungie straps but I prefer to use two or three webbing straps as they don't stretch and bounce.

Then I use a cable lock to lock the frames to a welded loop on the tow ball mounting.

Put something between the webbing and the frame - the rough texture of the webbing can rub the paint. I use sections of pipe insulation foam.
