Or get your mum to make you some garters? Or get some from Ann Summers http://www.annsummers.com/p/lace-garter-with-pink-satin/03bootas1120041, reckon you'll get far less stick from your mates than if you shave your legs

if they're too big - then they're too big. Write them off, then go out and buy some other shorts that fit properly.
