Tenn - glad you have seen the light.
Pearl Izumi - sizes are for real people, I have a pair, very comfortable, use them for commuting and also on all day runs. Durable.
Lusso - bit like Tenn. Don't go there.
Castelli/Rapha/Assos - lovely but expensive & go 2 sizes up.
DHB - watch the sizing, go up one size. Bizarrely, their older bibshorts were more normal size. I have 3 pairs which have lasted well.
Santini - excellent, very comfortable, go up one size. Affordable. Prendas often sell them cheaply.

Good Luck !

I ordered Santini Car5 in 4XL but unfortunately Prendas contacted to say out of stock- i gave them my measurements 6' 4" 17 stone 38"waist 46-48 chest. They recommended 5XL in Santini sizing. Offered me the more expensive 'edge' santini bib shorts with 'NAT' pad (but they kindly offered me a discount).

theyve arrived today (within 24 hours)- tried them on- seem to fit ok- not too tight on shoulders- leg is quite long (almost down to the knee) but look good. I think the 4XL may have been too small
whilst i am certainly no lightweight and could certainly do with losing a bit of weight i did not consider myself a fat b********d particularly - but 5XL !!!!! i am indeed a Lardy

Not sure about that. I am 6'1'', 80 kg and wear both DHB and Castelli in Medium. Same as Endura in fact.
