I only have three Bianchis, and that does not include a Specialissima, but I do have an Infinito CV, as does Mrs A. My view quoted above is based on a friend of mine from Gloucester way who has the full set. (Including the new Oltre XR4.) He has just been riding his Specialissima in the hills of Majorca, and it has gone up in his personal chart, apparently!
Has he recently posted some nice photos of the bike in Majorca on the BOCUK Facebook?

Have you had it out on the road yet? If so, what do you think of it? Would be very interested to hear.......

Ciao a tutti :hello:

I rode the Tour of the Peak this weekend which was a bit of a baptism of fire! The bike was great, the disc brakes are very powerful and sometimes squealed way too loudly - it didn't do this at the start but more so at the end of the ride. Does anyone here have experience with disc brakes? How do I stop them squealing? Serious stopping power though, they are hydraulic ones apparently.

It feels very safe and inspires real confidence on descents. It does do a good job at cutting the road chatter too. Just so much more stable than my old bike.

It is a great bike. The wheels i have are not the best and I am looking to replace them with something whizzier. Need to sell my Pro-Lites and get some disc brake-ready ones!

There you go full report! ^_^

Picked the Infinito CV up from Peak Cyclesport on Wednesday - many thanks to Andy for the excellent service and attention he gave me - and took it out for a ride yesterday. Great bike, feels really smooth and responsive. Weighed it before adding my bits & pieces - came in at 8.3kg with Shimano RD550 pedals, so is about 1kg less than my Giant Defy 0. Photos to follow when it stops raining!!
