Lets see how you get on - I've realised mine is in fact a Joe Blow Sport, which may be a better option for road bike tyres. Expect you can return/swap it if it isn't up to the job. It should be relatively easy to attain well over 100 psi

I'd recommend this one from halfords

It does presta/shraeder without any adaptor, just push it on, pull the lever up and pump.

Another possibility here then now,,,,, gets great write ups and would be just £18 with the BC discount.
I really need to get my backside kicked and order one soon otherwise it will be round to my mates again to borrow his !

Got the Halfords one The Snail recomended today.
Just used it and it was VERY easy to attach to the Presta valve and it was easy to pump up to 100psi.
Appears robust but only time will tell, first impressions are good though
