best oil to use?

Did not need fixing, thank you, even Finish Line wet, will wear off when ridden in extreme wet conditions. In fact I said "most" oils in my OP, but in reality, I have never found one that will stay on in extreme conditions.

Do you normally edit other peoples posts to reflect your own views? If so wind your neck in and keep your own views to yourself and for others to decide.

I know this will cause kick-back as discussions about chain oil always does but for what its worth, this is my personal opinion and I use this on my dirty old cross bike which I hammer to death and abuse and my best bike, Colnago Master, never had a problem and cannot remember last time I had to change a chain. Sectret with oiling a chain is simple - little and often and only apply drops to the rollers. Not that I'm a tight old git but just won't allow myself to be bullied by the bike shops into buying expensive oil in a fancy bottle.
