A subjective topic for sure, and some real top names floating about. FWIW I’m in the John Bonham camp, what that guy could do with a bass drum was often better than what other drummers could do with three.

If there ever was such a list of underrated drummers who don’t get the recognition they deserve then one man would top that list for sure- Roger Taylor (Queen). His work on their 70s albums in particular is, at times, just subliminal.

Terry Williams for me .Played with Rockpile ,Man and Dire Straits . He kicks it out the park on Telegraph Road. Long track ,drumming is superb

Neil Peart was the best drummer I have seen live. A brilliant musician and a sad loss to us ageing rockers.

Tom Sawyer (great drumming) and my personal favourite La Villa Strangiato, just because its amazing all round.
