Does Sports Tracker account for stops without having to be paused?
I use Runkeeper but it ruins my ride times when I invariably forget to stop the timer during cake sessions.

Yup. For each type of activity, you can give it a speed to "Autostop" at. In symbian the options are;

Don't autopause, autopause at less than 0.6mph, less than 1.2mph or less than 3.1mph.

After reading this thread I downloaded Sports Tracker for my iphone, it's great, loads of information and so simple to use.
It seems to be fairly accurate as the distance on my 1st ride with it today matched (exactly) the distance on my Cateye Strada, however, top and average speeds were lower than the Strada so I'm just going to believe the most complimentary figures.
It's opened a can of stat based worms though, my wife is very bored of it already.

Hi first post so be gentle!!

Suprised no one has mentioned iMapMyFitness.

find it does everything i need, but to be honest i haven't tried any of the others listed on this thread. I use the free version, and can't really see any advantage to the paid version. All the paid version does is remove ads and allow you to control your music from within the app. i just start my music first then launch the app! no problem!!

Surprised that no one has mentioned this: Biologic BikeBrain. Has tonnes of functions, plus it's free.

I use CardioTrainer for Android and find it very useful, it isn't just for cycling, it has all kinds of other activities (including walking, which is nice to see how far you walk/calories burnt etc.).

My friends all use cyclemeter. But I decided to try endomondo as it's free. Seems like a good app. Except for the fact it hasn't recorded any mileage for tonight's ride. Doh
You have to delete the results on your phone every so often or it dose start going a bit funny but appart from thet I think its the dogs bo###cks

Cheers for the heads up about that. It was only the once it happened, been fine ever since. I think it's pretty spot on for a free app

I really like Endomondo because of their statistics (viewable on the website, not phone). I think they're going to make them part of a premium package, but I'm even willing to pay for them, provided the price is kept to a sensible level.

And the various beat yourself, beat a friend and so on options are really nice, even though the "beat yourself" could be interpreted as somewhat naughty.
