As the title really, what's the best free app for the iPhone ??

I've just started using a MotionX GPS thing (not free, but only a couple of quid). Not too sure about so far. I ride the same route everyday, but the ascent and descent vary wildly each day.

Sports tracker for android its brilliant, Ooops, almost forgot it was FREE....................


It has this brillint function along with many others where it shows on the map the speed you was doing so when you go down hill it shows you the speed you reached or your favorite corner etc etc

My friends all use cyclemeter. But I decided to try endomondo as it's free. Seems like a good app. Except for the fact it hasn't recorded any mileage for tonight's ride. Doh

Same here, phone showed 17miles, 3 miles were uploaded to Endomondo's website....strange....

One the good side, I got out on the bike tonight, and the downside, I wished I'd took a snorkel and flippers...never seen so much rain...6miles into ride.

I think Sports Tracker's great too - they've just released it for iPhone, IIRC. I've used it on Symbian since it was a Nokia Beta Labs project.

Same here. Phone says I did 15 miles. The website just says I was out cycling for 40 odd minutes and no actual mileage. Least it didn't raIn. Just a strong head wind as usual

sorry i think i got excited and types too fast its actually called CYCTASTIC and heres a link app beware it uses about 20% of battery in 45 mins
