I use Strava to record the trip and then export it to Endomondo. Best of both worlds!
Other way round for me, though sometimes Endomondo displays heights wrong, and sometimes takes a while to start recording, though that could be the chipset in the N95.

I also use Ride with Gps seems to correct height and has other useful info. Like time spent at each speed grade at each speed, total duration moving time, stopped time ect...

On my last few rides on the bike I have used runkeeper (used it over a year while I was running) no problems with it.

Great response on this subject does very much seem to be a personal choice, I've tryed a few now on my iPhone but only the free versions and found myself that stava seems to be most accurate, think il stick with it see how I get on :-)

i have recently tried to use strava , after using runkeeper for ages, and cant see what all the fuss is about, the segments are great , but no audio feedback and no auto pause kills it for me, might have to have a look at endomondo

I'd highly recommend Cyclemeter, but I think it's only available for iOS (iPhone).

I'd not noticed that before now. It certainly looks comprehensive, but I'm finding they're all pretty similar for what I want them to do which is to primarily track my own rides which are mostly commuting.

Another new iOS apps which looks interesting is the runtastic Roadbike app. Again, difficult to tell whether it's any different from all the others without actually buying the app.

I have only ever used Endomondo for tracking and it is good for 9 to 12 hours battery.

What is battery life like in other apps and systems?

I've only ever used Endomondo but it seems to work OK. I've always questioned the calories used figures though.

I try not to worry about my strava times against others. Who knows who did what in a car or something? But I like to compare against myself. That's good fun.

Especially those you dont do often, thats where you can see an improvement, if there is any, but like its been said many times, weather conditions and how you feel, might effect them.
