Runtastic Pro for me (amazon did it free once) , syncs great with its webpage, can edit rides there if you do some how pause it or something by accident, I find the rain plays havok with my phone when on glove mode.
I use a Microsoft phone and my app of choice is Cyclometer. I have the onedrive add in to upload gpx files to my onedrive account. From there it's easy to import the files into strava or wherever.
I've seen some pretty horrendous GPS tracks on Strava. Huge corners cut off where the rider changes direction, and tracks that do not accurately follow the road. Not sure how anyone ends up with such a rubbish track log. My basic GPS logger phone app doesn't do that. Maybe they are logging at intervals that are far too widely spaced.

Whenever I go out, I use both Mapmyride and Strava at the same time on my Motorola Moto G - although I do prefer mapmyride as it gives me slightly longer distances!. i`ve used Runtastic Pro and Endomondo in the past as well and to be honest, they are almost all the same.
