No love yet for Elton's "Am steel stannin"?

He was apparently lookin' like a cru sabarba, feelin like a lemon Ken.
It was truly terrible, he just can’t sing anymore.
As a life long fan of Elton John, who’s bought everything he’s every released, who’s followed him loyally through the good and bad times that performance was armpit itchingly embarrassingly awful.

The Backstreet Boys did an excellent version of "I Want it that Way", but I can't seem to find a video of it which is a shame as it was really excellent.

It starts at about 1.30. Skip the start with posh and becks.

He’s clearly used to a big powerful sound system and some vocal distortion. He can still play piano though.

It was a very poor performance and I bet he wishes he’d approach it differently.

I've seen him live a couple of times and he is an awesome live performer, however recently he has definitely been off top form.

Thanks for that, but watching it is driving me mad: how is he supporting his guitar?? Is it on a strap round his waist?? If there was a bit more of him on camera it would probably be clear as day! Aaaaaaaaargh!!!!
not watched it yet... but if it's the double necked GS, then yes, it's around his waist.

That guitar alone is legendary... more a comedic piece of conceptual art or a cutting critique of virtuoso players, than an instrument.
