You're not trying to tell me this is off roading is going to be an expensive hobby are you ?
My wheel is knackered after six days , and my discs might not last the weekend.
I will just have to get the Penny Farthing out and pound the roads. Might be cheaper to run.

Yes MTBing is expensive. When you're playing around in the mud don't expect any of the parts to last long!.

Disc pad life completely depends on where and how you ride; and obvoiusly the sort of miles you're clocking up. It is possible to wear a set out in one ride but realistically you should get a good few months per set.
