And people talk about carbon faling, that was some hit.

I was thinking that, but I would still be reluctant to trust CF fork blades that had been in such an impact even if the steerer had not been wrecked.

Having said that, look at this video to see how tough CF can be ...



Mind you, @just_fixed had a serious accident when the front of his CF mountain bike snapped off ...

I should have added I would put new forks on and at the least have the frame checked, personally I would replace the frame as well.
